Red Basket is an official #GivingTuesday partner. #GivingTuesday is December 3, 2013 – the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. #GivingTuesday follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday and is a day to give back to your community and a movement to celebrate giving during the holiday season. It’s a call to action to change the calendar and make history, and an antacid to the overindulgence of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Here are a couple ways to get involved today…

  • Donate to a story on Red Basket and share the story on social media. Tell your Facebook friends why you donated. Tweet it. Pin it. Spreading the word about Red Basket will help future askers gain more support. To donate to a story, visit our give page: https://redbasket.org/give
  • If you want to give but can’t decide which story to give to, you can donate to the Good Start Fund, a new program that provides each of our new stories with an initial donation – giving them a Good Start. The Good Start Fund can be found here: https://redbasket.org/85/good-start
  • Buy our Good Deeds Card. You can give the gift of giving by purchasing one of these gift cards to let a friend or relative donate to the story of their choice. To buy a Good Deeds Card, visit: https://redbasket.org/good-deeds-card

#GivingTuesday. December 3, 2013. Join the movement.
